November 6th, 2025 - We now require email authentication when registering a nickname on StormNet with NickServ. We require your email address and it will be stored in a database but we assure you that we will not barter, give away or sell your email address to any entity, corporation or individual. We also assure you that we will not spam you. Your email address will only be used for the sole purpose of nickname password recovery. We hate spam as much as you do and value your privacy. You have my word on that. Thank you for your understanding. Also note that your email address will only be visible to Services Operators unless you make it public yourself. If you register a nickname and your confirmation email doesn't show up in your inbox, check your spam folder. Any questions please email studded@thestormnet.com
